Good Times

Howdy.  We had a great Labor Day weekend at the Frio house.  I got to play a lot with my toys, Great Grandpa and Great Grandma and of course my cousin Madison Moomoo.

I heard the most wonderful noise coming from the living room and found my cuz with her whoopee cushion.  It was almost like daddy's noises but without the smell.

I continued to follow Madison Moomoo around all morning long.  I was her shadow.
She taught me one of life's lessons, personal space.  Apparently people value their personal space and don't want you breathing down their neck .  It took a toy truck to the head to figure that one out.  Now I know!

Later that day I got to play outside.  I was told not to take the stroller off the porch but I did anyway.  Then I was told to stop picking up bugs....but I did anyway.

So then I had to take a break with Great Grandma.  Ho hum.  We talked about how she got in trouble when she was a little girl.  Oh well, it passed the time.

Daddy cheered me up by playing tickle monster. That just cracks me up.

Then it was time for Madison Moomoo and me to go to bed.  We got to watch the sun set and she kissed my head where she whacked me with the toy truck earlier....I guess I'll let that one go.

When we got home I decided to help with the laundry!  Bye-bye.

Howdy

Hey Vern!

How you doin'?  We're good.  I had a great weekend.  I helped daddy take in the trash.  It was too hot to take it out, so I just took it back into the kitchen.  It's not my problem.  I'll just let daddy take it out later...

We had a great lunch at the ol' Crackle Barrel.  Man that place is good...but my daddy kept taking pictures of me!

Look over there.  I think there's an Amish guy using a cell phone.

Take a look at my new ride.  Nanny and Po dropped it off Sunday on their way home from the farm. I've learned to stand on top of it to reach stuff that I couldn't quit reach before!  Thanks Nanny and Po...  Sorry daddy.

I'm Back Folks

I'm sorry for not posting any pics lately.  I've been busy.  Very busy.  We've moved.  I can't believe how much nicer daddy is now that we're closer to his work.  Mommy is a lot happier too.  I've started a new daycare.  I sure do miss my old friends but I've made a lot of new friends.  Plus, I'm sleeping in my own bed all night long!  No joke.  The first night I did it daddy checked on me five times because he couldn't believe it.

Here I am in my bed.

You caught me in the middle of some very important business.  I just signed a letter to the fed requesting they lower the interest rates a little bit more.

I've also been busy ordering things on-line.  You can find all kinds of things on there.  I'm still looking for a soft Elmo chair.  Maybe one day.....hint hint Papa.

Look here on this package.  For Mathas.  That's me.  I wonder what it is..

Oh yeah.  Diapers.  I thought it was something good.  Well at least they got the good night time ones.  I've been leaking like the Titanic lately.  It feels nice and warm at first but it gets cold quick.

Here I am helping daddy set stuff of for Olivia.  Oh yeah.  I forgot to mention.  I'm getting a sister soon.  She is allowed anywhere in the apartment except my room.  I'm the baby in the house and I rule.

This is where I get my nightly royal baths.  Daddy calls them royal baths because they are a royal pain when I poop in the tub.  Hey, I gambled and lost.  It happens.  One minute you think it's a quick toot and the next you hear mommy scream for daddy to pick "it" up.  Silly parents.

Walking

I am so proud of myself. I can finally walk. Daddy took a video clip to document this milestone.

Daddy also got a clip of me doing my sleepy dance.

Attack of the Colored Chicks

On Saturday mommy insisted that we go to an Easter egg hunt.  I've never been on one of those but it sounded kind of fun.  Daddy spotted some chicks and took me over to see them.

I've seen those things in books but boy was I shocked at what I saw.
I asked Daddy if he was seeing the same thing that I was. Red chicks, green chicks, purple chicks, and orange chicks? Something isn't right. We better investigate this!
Look here.  A green egg.  It was probably laid a few hour ago.  So we are looking for a green mommy and daddy or a blue one and a yellow one got together.  We're getting close to solving this thing.  Can someone get me some donuts?  They'll help with the investigation.
Another clue.
Look Andy.  We've got eggs all over this place and the Commissioner is on my back to solve this thing.  I need you to check the area for clues.  And Andy, be careful out there.  We don't know what we are dealing with here.
Has anyone seen any large colored chickens running around here?  We have baby chicks but no mommy chicks.
Everyone stay calm.  I'm a trained investigator.  Just let me do some checking around.  How are we doing on those donuts people?
Sweet Molly!  Tell me that's not what I think it is.
It's worse than I thought! Call the National Guard. Call the Marines. Call a priest... In second thought, cancel that last call. There are too many kids around here. But call somebody! Look at the size of this egg.  This thing is huge!  Haven't you people see Godzilla??
Listen.  This is not the place nor the time to be taking family pics.  Let's just get to the car and get out of here.  I'm done.

Welcome To My Party

I had a great first birthday party Saturday.  My mommy had everything decorated and made it very special for me.  I love her so much.
Then it was time to take pre pictures.  Mommy always has to take pre pictures.
What the hell do you call this itchy thing?
Then it was time to open my first present...
Oh, shoes... Thank you.  I was hoping for a fire truck, but everyone needs shoes...
Then it was time to sit and wait.  I wondered if anyone was coming to my party.
Finally!  Let me show you my cake.  Did you guys bring me any presents?
Cake time!
Oh man.  That cake was so good I had to call my cousin Macy Gray over to try it.  Anybody got milk?
Okay.  One more pose and I'm getting back to this cake.  Let's make this a good one people.  And shoot.
Daddy!  Try this.  What is this sweet stuff?  Sugar.  It's so good.
Nanny did a great job on this cake!
I had to show Papa this thing that had fire coming out of it!
Meme showed me the mess I made on her floor.  It was worth it.
Then it was time for a warm bath......ahhh
Hey, hey, hey.  Watch it with that spray hose lady!
That sugar stayed with me for a little while but I was ready for a nap after all of that fun.

I Played At the Park

Yesterday daddy and mommy took me and Madison to the park.  We had so much fun.  Mommy let me climb up a wall and slide down a slide.  We did a lot of swinging and climbing and playing.  After we were done we got to eat a snack.
They looked better than they taste!
